Shirts are here! Get yours now!

Support our adoption and show your care for the 147 MILLION orphans in the world! These are great for anyone you know that has an "adoption story", or for YOU to tell others of someone you know that has adopted (like us!). All proceeds go straight into our adoption account!

ADULT SHIRTS: Available in small, medium, large, and x-large. They are the "soft style" t-shirt, which is much softer and smoother than most t-shirts. (This was more expensive, but per Jason's request - he is fanatic about the way his shirts feel!) They are a cool green color with distressed-looking, chocolate brown text: 147 Million Orphans, minus 1. Cost: $20.

CHILDREN SHIRTS:Available in pink and blue. Sizes: 2T, 3T, 4T, youth XS (4-6) and youth S (6-8). Same text. Cost:$14.

If you are interested, order NOW! There is a limited number of each size, and people have already started asking for theirs! To get yours either email me or post a comment here first (with your name and size/color you need). I will then confirm that we have the size, and you can either pay me with a check or make your payment via the paypal donation link on the right side of this page. If you live away from here, let me know and we can work out shipping charges. If you live in the area, I can get your shirt to you asap!

UPDATE! Nothing new. Still about #42 on "the list". We are patiently waiting. This Sunday will be the ONE MONTH WAITING mark! One month down, ? to go!

What a fun couple of days we have had! We have had LOTS of time in the snow, made a rather stellar snowman, drank quite a bit of hot cocoa, and enjoyed some good ole' family time! I told Aidan and Hannah to soak up this snow, because they probably won't see 4 inches of snow in TN again until they are teenagers!
Some good news on the adoption front - I found out today that in 11 days (since going on the "list") we have gone up THREE spaces on the list. Pretty good, if you ask me! So now there are about 42 or so families in front of us. Keep in mind, that some of those families have requested either gender, and as boys are more prevalent, we may move up the list even faster. And some of the families have requested sibling groups, so that would bump us up too. Either way, I am thinking 8 to 10 months. The head-honcho of our adoption agency (WACAP) visited Ethiopia this past weekend to start relationships with some new orphanages. So hopefully that will open up more children to enter into WACAP's care.
And the highest bidder is...drumroll please....STEVE BOTTS! Yep, my dad was the highest bidder in the silent auction for the beautiful painting of the little African girl. He paid a whopping $250, which is a very generous contribution to help bring his next grandbaby home. I will have to say, that my family has been very supportive and generous with their time, money and resources in helping us with this journey. We also have several really good friends that never cease to amaze us with their hearts to give. THANK YOU to all of you!!!
Just a reminder that we are already taking donations for our spring yard sale. So if you have junk to get rid of - let me know! I will come haul it away for you!
Have a wonderful week!
